What we do

Global Citizen Nights: Live From Melbourne, an intimate evening of music and storytelling, headlined by Crowded House. Taking place at the Palais Theatre on St Kilda’s foreshore, this event honoured the stories of young trailblazers from across the Asia-Pacific region who are profoundly impacting their local communities in the areas of climate action, gender equity and more.

What we used

Gravity Media Australia worked with the team from Production Technologies on the broadcast of Global Citizen Nights: Live From Melbourne. The Gravity Media team provided a 12-camera set up plugged into Outside Broadcast truck HD5, which connected to our SNG truck uplink streaming to Master Control at the Production Centre in Sydney.

Outcome

Global Citizen Nights was broadcast across the globe on YouTube and screened nationally in Australia on 9Now. Global Citizen Nights: Live from Melbourne, was headlined by the legendary Crowded House, the two-hour event also featured performances by artists including Sampa The Great, Nooky + 3%, Go-Jo and Behani. Hosts Maria Thattil and Hugh Sheridan guided the audience through a memorable night of great music, performances and impactful stories.
