Drive to Survive, the behind-the-scenes Formula 1 documentary series, returned to Netflix for a second season in early 2021, with all 10 episodes available to stream from Friday 28 February.
The series is a big hit with fans, peeling away F1’s polished veneer to reveal the contract discussions, disputes and emotions rarely seen in race weekend coverage. Mercedes and Ferrari declined to participate in the first series, but both are excellent additions to this second outing – notably coverage of the Mercedes team’s weekend to forget at Hockenheim, and a focus on the intriguing Vettel/Leclerc rivalry.
Drive to Survive is rated an impressive 8.7 on IMDb. More series are on the way.
