Ammonite

What we did

To support post-production on Ammonite – a film written and directed by Francis Lee, starring Kate Winslet and Saoirse Ronan.

What we used

The Ammonite production team took two offline edit suites with shared storage and edit support at Gravity House in London.

Outcome

Set in 1840s England, Ammonite is loosely inspired by the life of British palaeontologist Mary Anning (played by Winslet) and a young woman, Charlotte Murchison (Ronan), sent to convalesce by the sea. The pair develop an intense relationship, altering both of their lives forever.

The film had its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival in September 2020. It is available to stream on Amazon Prime Video.
