What we did
The Darts Masters was in full force during the month of August with players battling it out to lift the title. The Masters was a three-weekend long event, with the first set of events taking place in Queensland and New South Wales, and the last event in New Zealand.
What we used
Gravity Media’s facilities and technology teams at the Production Centre London (Chiswick) were on hand to provide dedicated technical facilities for ITV Sport. This included redundant EVS ingest, edit suites and fast turnaround playout facilities. With this, ITV were able to create and play out their four-hour long highlight shows each evening of the tournament, each weekend.
Outcome
Gerwyn Price tasted glory for a second time in three years by winning the Jack’s World Series of Darts Finals, denying Dutchman Dirk van Duijvenbode 11-10 in a thrilling final.
