Commonwealth Heads of Government

What we did

The Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) is a biennial summit meeting of the heads of government from all Commonwealth nations. Every two years, the meeting is held in a different member state and is chaired by that nation’s respective prime minister or president.

This year, CHOGM was held in the UK from 16 to 20 April. Leaders gathered in London and Windsor to address the shared global challenges we face and agree actions on how to create a better future for all.

What we used

A team of Gravity Media engineers made their way to the Commonwealth HQ in Marlborough House, Pall Mall, to provide on-site to support for the London-based meetings. The workflow solution incorporated EVS XT [3] eight-channel servers, IPDirector’s for logging, ingest scheduling and management, and EVS XTAccess for handling up to 24 record streams.

Outcome

Gravity Media successfully carried out all of the clients requirements including:

• Ingest of Live Events.
• Ingest of ENG Material.
• Logging of above.
• Replay of Media in OB.
• Replay of Media in MCR.
• Feed to local server with media network access.
• Stream feed to websites.
• Archive of all media delivered to client after event.
