TV Drama

All the world's a stage.

Gravity Media’s long-standing involvement in TV drama is the envy of the entertainment industry.

Perhaps the most telling testament to our depth and reach in high-end TV drama is the recent BAFTAs, which heavily featured Gravity Media clients.

In 2020, three of the four nominations for Best Drama ‒ including the winner ‒ used the facilities and equipment at Gravity House, and the fourth nomination has done the same for recent series: The End of The F***ing World – the second season of which was the winning drama Gentleman Jack Giri/Haji The Crown Our clients also enjoyed two of the four BAFTA nominations for Best Editing: Fiction, namely Killing Eve (Dan Crinnion) and Giri/Haji (Elen Pierce Lewis), while further nominations came for A Confession (Best Mini-Series) and Killing Eve (Best Production Design).
Whether it’s our bespoke equipment or dedicated post-production facilities, or it’s our talented engineers or experienced crew, we’re proud to be involved in some of the best dramatic productions for the small screen emanating from the UK and internationally. Our equipment hire covers everything needed for both studio and location shooting and production – all tested, packed and shipped in custom-built flight cases and supported by 24/7 technical backup. Our cutting room facilities ‒ particularly Gravity House in London’s Soho – are always in high demand. Gravity House is a multifunctional facility with 40 offline rooms that can be dressed for any given need – editing, production meetings, private screenings… the list goes on.
Some recent TV dramas involving Gravity Media’s kit, facilities or expertise ‒ or all three ‒ include: All Creatures Great and Small (Channel 5); Flesh and Blood (ITV); Patrick Melrose (Sky); Domina (Sky); Beecham House (ITV); Ackley Bridge (Channel 4) and Big Little Lies (Sky).
