The Footy Show Grand Final: My Room Telethon

What we did

Gravity Media partner with Channel 9 for The Footy Show Grand Final: My Room Telethon. The Sunday Footy Show host Tony Jones, along with Nathan Brown, Matthew Lloyd, Damian Barrett and Kane Cornes, were joined by Lauren Phillips and Clint Stanaway for a jam-packed television spectacular that smashed the previous fundraising results for the My Room Children’s Cancer Charity.

What we used

The telethon was broadcast out of Gravity Media’s Production Centre in Melbourne with a full studio audience. A 10 HD camera chain (including a jib camera) was used on the studio floor, in the southern carpark and in studio 5.3, which became the Dilmah Green Room. The Channel 9 team had access to control room 5, our production offices and all the media facilities they required to put on a great broadcast.

Outcome

Gravity Media is proud to be a sponsor of the Footy Show Grand Final: My Room Telethon on Channel 9. Gravity Media provided studio and media facilities at our Production Centre in Melbourne for the broadcast. As a result, a record-breaking total of $3,375,928 was raised for the My Room Children’s Cancer Charity.
