The next-generation Production center housed in The Westworks is the latest Gravity Media facility opening in 2023. The facility is a creative and technology-leading media hub made up of production, post-production, and live studios. The 30,000-square-foot facility features best-in-class technology to support both on-premise and distributed remote production workflows.
Gravity Media’s brand-new state-of-the-art facility is based around a fully-fledged 2110 IP media fabric with dedicated master control rooms, six production control rooms with dedicated audio control rooms, seven flexi control rooms, multiple off-tube commentary booths, two studios, lighting and vision control facilities, fast turnaround and craft edit, media management and client desking.
Six fast turnaround and craft edits with either Avid Media Composer or Adobe Premiere, options available.
Each Suite includes a dedicated client as well as additional feed monitoring and production talkback. Plus additional capacity for client desktop access and additional IPDirector access.
Connected to the Gravity Media UK network affords seamless integration into our wider production ecosystem including our Digital Archive services. This allows a simple route into archive workflows whether serviced by Gravity Media – or onward to third party archive providers.
Our brand-new facility, has a selection of six dedicated sound control rooms. All featuring Calrec Artemis surfaces. We also have 6 Multibooths, primarily availble for offtube commentary or voice over, but also useable for other roles, with each both equipped with video and audio monitoring an production talkback.
At our White City Production center, there are dedicated vision control rooms, for each studio, with UHD Grade 1 OLED monitors, and operational positions for the Lighting Director, Console Operator and Vision Supervisor.
To ensure complete flexibility, these Vision Control Rooms are capable of working internally to the studios within the Production center, or externally for Remote Production requirements.
Our Gravity Media hub has four large ten person production control rooms, as well as two smaller six person production control rooms, and will comfortably seat all of the key personnel required across the productions.
We also offer seven Flexible Control Rooms, of varying sizes, for add-on decentralised functions or smaller self-contained productions.
There are two studios in the facility, the largest being 10mx10m and the smaller 10m x 6m. Physical, virtual and AR workflows are the focus for both spaces. We have included scope for 10 full camera chains, space for a jib as well as autoscript provision.
