ABOUT THE ROLE

​

A BRIEF SUMMARY

The Sales Executive role is a full-time on-site role at Gravity Media High Wycombe base working within the Sales and Commercial Team as a Sales Executive. The main requirement of the role is to support the processes and wider stakeholder demands in the UK business

​

WHAT YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

All employees are expected to contribute and participate in work activities in line with our management system to ensure the continual improvement of our business.

  • Maintaining a positive attitude while answering leads and addressing customers or sales team requirements
  • Support the sales team by setting up and processing Client Quotes as requested by the sales team and keeping senior staff informed of file management
  • Working with the sales team in assisting with completing quotes across all genres of work including specialist camera provision and outside broadcast / flypack projects
  • Gaining experience to create quotes individually with a confident knowledge of the requirements
  • Share lead generating ideas and feel empowered to contribute in Sales meetings
  • Ensure the sales team is on track to meet month-end reporting goals and set reminders
  • Establish active communication and engagement with other departments specifically production, resources and engineering delivery to help where necessary
  • Work with the Sales team for bid updating and creation of responses to clients and internal / external presentations
  • Keep all required sales and commercial documentation, both internal and external, up to date and filed correctly within the sales Teams Folders
  • Provide all necessary sales and commercial data to senior management upon request and coordinate meetings between departments as requested
  • Collaborate effectively with the sales team by creating and issuing sales tracking documentation upon request
  • Report into UK, day to day management will be managed by Head of Sales
  • Manage the Sales Assistant day to day

THIS ROLE IS FOR YOU IF YOU HAVE

  • Strong excel / word / PowerPoint skills
  • Strong oral and written communications skills
  • Strong eye for detail and accuracy
  • Strong creative, strategic and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at a time
  • CRM knowledge / updating abilities
  • Industry knowledge is preferable

IN THIS MANAGEMENT ROLE WE’LL BE EXPECTING YOU TO

  • maintain a safe working environment for your teams by complying with all required Health & Safety procedures, and other management processes e.g. ISO standards;
  • be the first point of contact for your team for any queries, escalations, and feedback;
  • hold regular meetings with each member of your team to align on topics, direction, information sharing, create an opportunity for the team to be heard and sense of community;
  • regularly review workload across the team to ensure efficiency and balance;
  • provide feedback to your team to allow continued growth;
  • ensure new members to your team have a thorough onboarding process including regular review during probation (excludes onboarding provided by HR);
  • actively support the development of your team through action plans;
  • actively manage poor performance;
  • communicate and reinforce key business messages to your team, for example following Manager Meetings, Town Halls, email communications;
  • understand key Company policies/processes and help your team to understand;
  • be responsive to requests for information to colleagues and other departments;
  • ensure your team complete all mandatory training;
  • carry out an annual performance review with each member of your team;
  • take any necessary steps to ensure that individuals are not subjected to harassment, sexual harassment, or bullying;
  • manage day to day spend in line with company objectives, direction and in the interests of the company.
