What we did
Gravity Media provided systems integration, technical equipment supply and rental for both the studio and wraparound edit and ingest with ongoing engineering support. The systems engineering was completed in just two months, creating a five-camera studio with the potential to convert to an eight-camera set up.
What we used
Sony MVS 7000X switcher, Calrec Artemis sound desk, Ross Ultrix router, EVS Cerebrum control system, Reidel Comms with Bolero wireless belt packs, EVS XT3 with IP gateway and self-contained Avid Edit.
Outcome
From February 2022, Morning Live is broadcast live from their new Manchester city centre home which incorporates the top two floors of the ABC building. The new high-spec studio provides full facilities including production galleries, dressing rooms, production office and green rooms.
