The systems consists of robotic arm system fitted with a balanced carbon fibre arm and mini robotic head with High Frame Rate (HFR) broadcast quality mini camera to provide the unique in-goal camera angle with the added capability of smooth, Jib and Swing like fully remote controlled camera movement behind the net. SMARTgrip™ is supplied with a video and data fibre transmission system to facilitate full connectivity and control by a single operator from the OB or production area. The camera control units are highly flexible with separate IP based control panels available for camera and VT functions which are also suitable for remote production workflow environments.
Utilising the latest generation, broadcast quality HFR camera types, SMARTgrip™ is fully compatible with current format ranges including HDR ensuring seamless integration into any live broadcast operation. A variety of support stands are available ensuring a minimum footprint/profile and discrete operation behind the football goal area making it also suited to a range of other production applications.
SMARTgrip™ has been used on International and Champions League matches and is UEFA approved.
