Cricket

Catch me if you can.

Cricket is a game adored by millions the world over.

Some because they play it; others because they love long days sitting in the sun in beautiful surroundings; and all because they love the companionship of fellow fans as they accumulate memories of match-winning innings and five-wicket hauls. Cricket is a sport for the people, full of tradition, and one that Gravity Media has been delighted to support for years.

We’ve covered a multitude of formats all around the globe, from The Ashes to the Cricket World Cup; from the Pakistan Super League to the Australian Women’s Big Bash T20. We understand the game and what the fans looks for, and work to help broadcasters and national associations cover the sport in new and innovative ways. Our services range from broadcast equipment hire to full outside broadcast and studio production.
We’re often told that Gravity Media’s most compelling feature is the robustness of our offer, whatever the scenario. So whether it’s guaranteeing the delivery of a flypack install that can jump from island to island in the West Indies, or it’s engineering a live-streaming solution that gives high-quality production for multiple events across Australia, clients can be assured of best-of-breed equipment, top-notch and personable crew, and an ability to get it right first time, every time.
For one recent assignment, we covered a Twenty20 tournament that comprised 34 matches held across 26 days in four different venues in Karachi, Multan, Rawalpindi and Lahore. There were over 150 people involved in the broadcast, and the setup involved a total of 64 cameras, including drones, Hawk-Eye and Spidercam. For another client, we’ve provided equipment and a range of broadcast and technical support services across various competition formats for many years. Recently, we covered over 110 matches contested nation-wide in more than 30 separate venues, providing live-streamed content at a broadcast level of production and editorial quality. It’s not just the cricket that’s first class.
