At Gravity Media, we’re well known for our involvement in live sports, reality TV, blockbuster movies, documentaries and more, but we’re perhaps a little less known for our work in conferences, exhibitions and summits – in both the real world and online.

To us, these productions are no different to all the other live events we support, with clients looking to create content that informs and excites. Production values are just as high as for any broadcast, and we work closely with organisers to deliver an audience experience that’s as meaningful as it is memorable.

We have the kit, the people, the experience and the attention to detail to bring huge value to all types of conference undertaking. The service you get is end-to-end, as we offer consultancy, planning and design through to setup, pre-production, logistics, crewing and onsite infrastructure. We have mobile units and flypacks to support any shape or size of location production, and can deliver hybrid or ‘at home’ production solutions, which are increasingly popular as the world finds ways to circumvent Covid-19.

The range of our activity ranges from full-scale outside broadcast solutions through live-streamed virtual and studio productions to media distribution and archive management. Two examples of our recent work are The Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) and Global Marketing Day.

CHOGM is a biennial summit meeting of the heads of government from all Commonwealth nations to devise solutions to global challenges. Gravity Media worked on the UK-hosted summit in 2018, providing onsite support, managing content workflow from location to outside broadcast unit to master control room, and live-streaming feeds to various online platforms. We also created a full media archive for the client post-event.

Global Marketing Day is a 24-hour online Marketing conference, most recently streamed to a global audience of 55,000 marketers and creatives in 2019. The production required a six-hour broadcast from Australia, which we hosted at The Production Centre, Sydney, before the event moved to London. Our work involved set-building, crewing and technical facilities, as well as connectivity to a hub in Russia, to facilitate the six-hour, live downstream production.
