Job Title: Group Logistic Coordinator
About the role
Gravity Media are looking for a Logistics Coordinator to assist with booking and planning international and domestic freight for the mainly projects led Logistics department based in Watford. Experience with freight and/or 3PL providers preferred but not essential.
A brief summary
You will be required to coordinate freight activity for a range of projects and to help facilitate intercompany asset utilisation, ensuring all shipments are delivered in a timely manner. This includes sourcing competitive quotes, booking domestic and international freight, and working closely with freight agents, engineers, project managers, operations, and warehouse staff to plan delivery and collection schedules.
You will manage both temporary and permanent imports, ensuring compliance with customs requirements, correct tariff codes, VAT calculations, and the timely closure of import records. You’ll also arrange Carnets and settle temporary import bonds after export.
