Capital FM’s Summertime Ball returned to London’s Wembley Stadium on Saturday 8th June, where all the usual suspects from the world of pop lined up for one of the biggest music events of the summer. The one-and-only Mark Ronson kicked things off at 2.30pm, followed by another 18 of the hottest acts around who kept the party going till 10 at night. The show was a complete sell-out, with 80,000 pop-goers packing into the stadium on the day.
For those without a ticket, all was not lost. Fans could watch or listen to the entire thing live on a number of streaming platforms, thanks to the kit HyperActive provided for the event – 20 Adobe Premiere Pro systems, with 60Tb of Avid NEXIS storage, three EVS XT3s and XTAccess.
