About the role

Job title: Technical Producer II

A brief summary 

We’re looking for a proactive, structured and collaborative Technical Producer to support the operational success of our teams at Riot Games’ global esports facilities, including Riot Games Arenas (RGAs) and Remote Broadcast Centers (RBCs). As a Technical Producer, you will organize complex workstreams, enable technical teams, track projects, manage incidents and deliver event-critical technology workflows across multiple time zones.

In this role, you’ll partner with facility Product and Production Teams, engineering leads, and distributed technical staff to drive consistency in backlog prioritization, monthly planning and incident triage. You’ll also support the systems and documentation that keep our facilities aligned, while contributing to cross-team initiatives that improve our global tooling, processes and delivery practices.

 

What you’ll be responsible for

  • Serve as an administrator for teamwork management platforms (Jira, Airtable, Notion), ensuring they reflect current work, are easy to navigate, and drive visibility across teams.
  • Partner with engineering leads and managers to support our intake, triage, backlog management and prioritization workflows.
  • Evolve our work systems to reflect changing team needs, reduce friction and improve cross-team utilization.
  • Facilitate the scoping, planning and execution of key technical projects, both planned and emergent.
  • Support the creation and maintenance of project plans, roadmaps, RACI documents and supporting artifacts to keep teams aligned and accountable.
  • Apply structured project management and Agile best practices to improve team velocity and delivery quality.
  • Lead and facilitate key team rituals such as kickoffs, standups, retrospectives and planning sessions.
  • Coordinate across global contributors and time zones, ensuring timelines are maintained and outcomes are well-communicated.
  • Identify gaps and inefficiencies in our planning and operational runbooks, support best practices and drive consistency.
  • Support ITSM processes, Service Desk, Incident Management and Problem Management, Knowledge Management.

 

This role is for you if

Required Qualifications

  • 2-4 years of experience in a Technical Production, Technical Program Management or Technical Project Management role, ideally supporting engineering, broadcast, and/or live event teams.
  • Ability to lead cross-team coordination efforts and support initiatives through project management and facilitation.
  • Experience with work management tool administration (Jira, Airtable, Notion) and ability to evolve these platforms to serve team needs.
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to bridge technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience working with teams, especially remote, across multiple disciplines, time zones and cultures.
  • Fluency in Agile, Scrum or hybrid workflows including sprint planning, retrospectives and standups.
  • Technical fluency, not as a developer or engineer, but with enough knowledge to effectively communicate with technical teams.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience in live broadcast, esports, gaming or technical production environments.
  • Experience in Agile, ITIL, and Lean methodologies for service delivery and continuous improvement.
  • Comfort supporting both structured project work and emergent, interrupt-driven tasks across multiple workstreams.
  • Ability to lead process alignment discussions and implement systems and tooling improvements.
  • A mindset focused on team enablement, operational excellence, and customer service.

Location

  • This is a Remote role, with preference for candidates in Eastern US timezone.
  • Role supports Riot’s global esports facilities in Berlin (DE), Dublin (IE), Los Angeles (US), Seattle (US), and São Paulo (BR).
