A brief summary

We’re looking for a skilled Systems Engineer to join Gravity Media’s team at Riot Games’ Remote Broadcast Center in Seattle.

As a Systems Engineer, you will contribute to a team responsible for supporting and maintaining esports infrastructure. You’ll serve as a key contributor within a self-directed, cross-functional team, address systems engineering needs while working on critical riot esports services. The ideal candidate brings a solid foundation in systems support, problem solving mindset, and a passion for maintaining reliable infrastructure.

 

What you’ll be responsible for

  • Operate and maintain infrastructure and systems that support players, fans, Gravity Media personnel, and Rioters, including emergent and on-call work.
  • Support imaging, deployment, and day-to-day troubleshooting across Windows and Linux environments.
  • Provide hands-on support for server hardware, including installation and maintenance.
  • Deploy and manage resources within cloud service providers.
  • Participate in team rituals and contribute to work system artifacts (stand-ups, retrospectives, planning sessions).

 

This role is for you if

Desired Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in Systems, Support or Infrastructure Engineering.
  • Experience with Okta and a good understanding of authentication protocols (SAML, OAuth2).
  • Experience working within Agile/Scrum teams.
  • Proficiency with image deployment tools (FOG, SCCM, Autopilot).
  • Experience supporting and maintaining services across both Linux and Windows environments.
  • Experience use Git for version control.
  • Occasionally required to lift up to 30 pounds.
  • Occasionally required to push or pull road cases.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience managing monitoring and alerting solutions.
  • Familiarity with automation/configuration tools such as Ansible and Terraform.
  • Experience with Jenkins, Docker and virtualization platforms.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure).
