The NSW Schools Spectacular is an awe-inspiring annual extravaganza that celebrates the vibrancy and diversity of youth, education, and culture in New South Wales, Australia. Showcasing the remarkable talent of over 5,000 students from public schools in the country to cities, this spectacular event spans four shows over two days at the iconic Qudos Bank Arena. With a cast of 2,300 dancers, a combined choir of 2,500, an 80-piece full symphony orchestra, and a 25-piece stage band, the NSW Schools Spectacular is a true masterpiece of collaborative artistry. The 2022 theme, Creating the Magic, was a spellbinding experience that left audiences breathless.
What we used
Collaborating with the NSW Department of Education’ Arts Unit, Gravity Media proudly served as the production, broadcast, and post-production partner for the highly-anticipated NSW Schools Spectacular. From capturing the captivating location backstories to crafting mesmerizing opening sequences, Gravity Media offered a comprehensive turnkey production solution. The production team left no stone unturned, leveraging a cutting-edge arsenal of 15 cameras and a state-of-the-art Outside Broadcast, complemented by Spidercam to elevate the visual experience to new heights. With their unwavering commitment to excellence, Gravity Media delivered a truly unforgettable spectacle that left audiences in awe.

Since 2016, Gravity Media has been the driving force behind the highly-anticipated NSW Schools Spectacular national broadcast.
