Gravity Media, the world leading global provider of complex live creative production and media services, is thrilled to announce the appointment of Seb Knight as Systems Integration Design Engineer, further expanding the global Systems Integration team.
With over twenty years of experience, Seb joins the talented Systems Integration team led by Paul Sykes, Gravity Media’s Head of Systems Integration. As a team including Andy Attwell, Systems Integration Proposals Engineer, they have recently successfully built Gravity Media’s brand-new state-of-the-art Production Centre London facility in White City in just under 16 weeks. The 50,000-square-foot facility features best-in-class technology to support both on-premise and distributed remote production workflows.
Seb is an enthusiastic, engaging, highly motivated, can-do engineer with extensive experience across a broad range of technology disciplines. Having worked across the majority of aspects of broadcasting working from, in and out of the studio, through distribution lines to the top of the transmitter. As well as project design proposal, through to acceptance and handover. Seb also holds experience in managing diverse engineering teams in various disciplines.
Prior to joining Gravity Media, Seb worked as Chief Engineer at TBN UK, Senior Broadcast IT Engineer at Qvest Media Ltd and Broadcast Field Engineer at CNN. Seb began his career in 2003, as a Broadcast Engineer at Service Sound and Vision Corporation where he then went on to work as a Broadcast Engineer at the BBC during the build of New Broadcasting House.
Most recently, Seb worked as a Freelancer Broadcast Engineer where he delivered engineering and project management services to various clients including BT Sport, ITN, CNN, Sky, Discovery Networks and GB News. Seb was responsible for maintaining a variety of equipment including Avid, EVS Operate and installing remote news installations as well as MCR infrastructure. In addition, he assisted in the design and build of Greenfield News installations for GB News and developed new OB equipment, workflow and trained a talented operational team.

Gravity Media’s brand new state-of-the-art facility is based around a fully-fledged 2110 IP media fabric with dedicated master control rooms, six dedicated production control rooms with dedicated audio control rooms, seven flexi control rooms, multiple off-tube commentary booths, two studios, lighting and vision control facilities, fast turnaround and craft edit, flexi desk production spaces, media management and client desking.
