Mental health is a global issue that affects us all, and we can all help raise awareness and break the stigma.

Here at Gravity Media, we recognise that mental health matters every day of the month but using this day to spread more awareness can help reach people who still feel alone in their struggles. As such we want to take this opportunity to look at what you can do to protect your own mental health, and that of the people around you.

Here are some tips from the Mental Health Foundation on how to be kind to your mind:

• Talk to someone you trust
• Be kind to others
• Get more from your sleep
