On Saturday 5 June, Gravity Media assisted the multi-award-winning production company, Artemis Media, with an Australian television first, Australia’s Biggest Singalong! – a two-hour live event broadcasted on SBS (Special Broadcasting Service), NITV (National Indigenous Television), and SBS On Demand.
Australia’s Biggest Singalong gave Australian audiences the opportunity to get together with friends or family to sing to their heart’s content, alongside special guests, choirs, and vocalists all around the country.
Guided by Pub Choir Director, Astrid Jorgensen, the night taught us all to sing a timeless Aussie classic, Throw Your Arms Around Me, by front man and songwriter, Mark Seymour, of the legendary band Hunters and Collectors. The special night brought the nation together in song to celebrate the power of music, with hosts Julia Zemiro and Miranda Tapsell adding their voices to the mix.
Gravity Media successfully delivered facilities and production support for the exciting two-hour live singing event on location at Sydney Town Hall. The team used outside broadcast super truck HD8, complete with crew and linked to remote locations via LiveU bonded technology in Brisbane, Cairns, Mid-North NSW, and Broome.
