The Global Conference for Media Freedom

The Global Conference for Media Freedom took place on 10 and 11 July 2019 in London, co-hosted by the UK Foreign Office and the Canadian Government.

The conference was the first of its kind; part of an international campaign to promote media freedom and increase the penalties for those who are attempting to restrict it.

Global leaders, representatives from the media industry, journalists and academia all gathered to attend a series of talks and interactive panel discussions.

HyperActive was onsite too recording the proceedings, supplying an ENG ingest and EVS workflow that included three EVS IPDirector systems for logging and media management.
