Based out of our Watford Head Quarters, the Facilities Manager will be responsible for ensuring that all 5 of our facilities within the UK are maintained to the highest possible standard. The Facilities Manager will manage both internal resource and external contractors to carry out work including but not limited to, remedial works, cleaning, and site security. The Facilities Manager will take responsibility to travel to all of our UK sites to ensure their maintenance

Based out of our Watford Head Quarters, the Facilities Manager will be responsible for ensuring that all 5 of our facilities within the UK are maintained to the highest possible standard. The Facilities Manager will manage both internal resource and external contractors to carry out work including but not limited to, remedial works, cleaning, and site security. The Facilities Manager will take responsibility to travel to all of our UK sites to ensure their maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Management of planned preventative maintenance schedule.

• Ownership of facilities support ticketing system- tickets to be closed off in timely manner. Costly works to be escalated for SLT decision.

• Line management of Maintenance Operative & supervision of external contractors.

• Liaise with those responsible for general management of each site to plan works to minimise disruption to business and client operations.

• Management of UK facilities building maintenance budget.

• Oversite and budget management of building renovation & business relocation projects

• Continued review of services from external providers, ensuring Gravity Media achieves high levels of service for the best possible price.

Adhering to our company H&S policy and ensuring that all company risk assessments are observed where applicable to your role, taking ownership of improvements and escalating concerns where necessary.

ISO

Contribute to the continual improvement of our management systems to ensure compliance with our legal obligations and maintain certification.

Qualifications

5 GCSEs A-C or equivalent (including English and maths)

Desirable

IOSH Managing Safely Level 3 Facilities Management or equivalent experience

Competencies

• Strong organisational skills.

• Good eye for detail.

• Good computer skills, including working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite apps

• Good communicator

• Able to work well both individually and in a team.

• Strong time management and ability to prioritise work.

Experience

3+ years in a management level Facilities role

Track record managing small teams and dealing with contractors.

Experience working within a broadcast and/or media environment preferable
