We are looking for a skilled Senior Broadcast Engineer to join our team to help lead, shape, and drive the operation and maintenance of the production layer and supporting technologies at our clients remote broadcast operations with global reach. If successful, you will be working with the latest technology in the most advanced Remote Broadcast Centre in the World in the greater Dublin area.

We are looking for a skilled Senior Broadcast Engineer to join our team to help lead, shape, and drive the operation and maintenance of the production layer and supporting technologies at our clients remote broadcast operations with global reach.

If successful, you will be working with the latest technology in the most advanced Remote Broadcast Centre in the World in the greater Dublin area.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Event Onboarding: Responsible for the successful onboarding of an incoming event – breaking down the asks and ensuring we can facilitate and manage all asks within our slate/infrastructure. Successful delivery event engineering.
  • Workflow Efficiency: Reviewing workflows and finding better ways engineering can support the client, events and colleagues.
  • Rostering: Take responsibility for engineering roster, assigning time to support events and working to ensure no break in service, especially in high demand. Rostering should follow the latest work roster pillars.
  • Bi-yearly maintenance check: Run down on each station within the Remote Broadcast Centre to ensure equipment is operational and physical faults are identified and pathways to ensure Event output.
  • Rental Equipment POC: Responsible for checking in rental equipment, noting how equipment is packaged and what is contained in the delivery. In turn, responsible for the off-boarding of equipment, ensuring all items are returned as delivered.
  • Maintain the production and technical infrastructures within the centre. This includes production equipment and spaces, content management platform, communications systems, graphics, video systems, processing and transcoding and the Engineering core
  • Maintain control, efficiency, and visibility over the centre’s technology, its maintenance and serve as a point of escalation for the on-site team to analyse, troubleshoot and solve technical problems
  • Monitor and manage on premise and cloud resources.
  • Coordinate production activities with the other technical centres
  • Collaborate with the Esports engineering and IT teams to create better in-house systems for movement and management of content, monitoring streams and enhancing quality of service metrics
  • Performing regular reporting on performance of the centres by identifying and tracking data for KPI .
