With a strong emphasis on collaboration and continuous learning, he ensures teams stay ahead of industry trends, integrating emerging technologies to enhance broadcast quality, efficiency, and scalability.
He plays a central role in shaping the design and deployment of the UK Outside Broadcast (OB) fleet and Remote Operation Centres, aligning technical infrastructure with future-focused strategies.
With a career spanning over 35 years, Sean has been instrumental in driving the evolution of broadcast technology—from analogue PAL to SD, HD, 3D, UHD, and now 8K—partnering with manufacturers and clients to pioneer new workflows and formats. Beginning his career in 1990 as an Electronics Maintenance Engineer at Finepoint Broadcast, and later as an OB Guarantee Engineer at Telegenic, Sean has supported global events including the Olympics, World Cups, and European Championships, each marking a new era of broadcast innovation.
