As Director of Media Services & Facilities for Gravity Media in EMEA, John is responsible for driving the strategic direction of global projects run from Europe and works to drive collaboration across Gravity Media’s regional offices. 

After a number of successful years as Director of Technical Operations at Input Media, John joined Gearhouse Broadcast as Head of Projects in early 2019. Both businesses have since rebranded as Gravity Media.

An expert in sports production technical workflows and logistics, John began his career with Input Media in 2001 as a VTR operator, and then moved into Engineering as junior engineer. After a brief period at Sky’s Digital Platform Operations and Digital Support Group during 2004, he re-joined Input Media as an engineer, becoming Technical Operations Director in 2011.

John has a strong technical background and an in-depth knowledge of all aspects of the production and distribution process, with the ability to find the best technical solution for all creative and operational requirements.

Kate is responsible for leading the Proposals Team at Gravity Media, where she oversees planning and production of high-quality responses and other bid documentation in answer to client RFI, RFQ and RFPs across the EMEA region.  With a background in engineering she has become a subject matter expert on the broadcasting proposal process.

Kate joined Gravity Media in 2013 as a Vision Engineer and has progressed through Project Management into her role in Proposals.  Kate led the Gravity Media team responsible for ITV UK’s biggest rated show – I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here! for four years as well as managing BBC Top Gear and other projects.

Prior to joining Gravity Media, Kate worked as the Engineer In Charge and Company Director of a small broadcast services company for two years providing crew and project management to the broadcast industry.

Kate started her TV career at Telegenic as a Trainee Vision Engineer and over seven years rose to be one of their most competent and reliable Truck Guarantees until she left in 2011.

Kate has a Class 2:1 BEng in Broadcast Technology from Liverpool John Moores University and is currently working towards an gaining an MBA (Technology Management) with the Open University.

Adrian Jenner drives the development of technology for our broadcast and communication systems. Adrian is responsible for the research and development of new technology to ensure the company remains relevant with technical innovation and client requirements.

He has wide ranging technical and people skills, with a diverse background covering studio production, system integration, and support for teleports and outside broadcast.

AJ has held a number of positions within Gravity Media, after having joined Gearhouse Broadcast in 2014 from Globecast Australia where he worked as a broadcast engineer. He has been key to the design and implementation of countless technological and operational projects, and in his role as Head of Technology, he now develops customer solutions that will keep Gearhouse at the forefront of our industry.

AJ qualified with a BEng (Hons) in Sound Engineering from University of South Wales, and has been featured in publications and on discussion panels speaking on broadcast technology.

Ben is responsible for managing existing key client relationships and developing new clients and business revenue streams.

A leading broadcast manager for operations and business management, Ben has worked on innumerable live studio and sports broadcast projects across all genres.

With over 20 years’ industry knowledge and credibility, Ben has helped customers such as Channel Seven Sports and Tennis Australia, as well as industry-leading production houses and networks around the globe, produce and deliver some of the world’s greatest TV spectacles.

Before joining Gravity Media (as Gearhouse Broadcast) in 2012, Ben worked for Nine Network, Ten Network and other broadcast technology organisations. His broadcast background is in network transmission management, video engineering and the overall management of individual broadcasts.

As Director of Production and Content for Gravity Media in Australia, former Head of Sport at Seven Network and Fox Sports Saul is responsible for broadening Gravity Media’s expansion across production and content for its Australia-based business.

Immediately before to joining Gravity Media, Saul was Senior Producer at Mushroom Group, working of productions which included Series 1 & 2 of The Sound, a music programme for ABC and Music From The Home Front, broadcast in primetime on the Nine Network

Prior to working with Mushroom, Saul spent almost 16 years at Seven Network as Head of Sport where he was responsible for productions including Summer and Winter Olympics, Paralympics, Commonwealth Games, AFL, Wimbledon, Australian Open Tennis, Melbourne Cup Carnival, V8 Supercars ,Rugby Union Tests, Australian Open Golf, Rugby League World Cup , Australian Swimming Championships, Australian Surf Lifesaving Championships, Sydney Hobart Yacht Race Start. He also oversaw the production of magazine shows including Sportsworld and Game Day

Before Seven Network, Saul spent almost eight years as Head of Sport at Fox Sports Australia, initially supervising the transformation from Premier Sports to Fox Sports Australia, then responsible for all production, including: NRL, Rugby Union, Moto GP, NBL, 1998 Nagano Winter Olympics, as well as numerous news, magazine and panel shows.

Prior to Fox Sports, Saul spent almost 16 years with Nine Network, starting as a production cadet and latterly as Executive Producer. His productions included Test and ODI Cricket, Rugby League, Formula 1 Grand Prix, Wimbledon, NSW and Victorian Horse Racing, Boxing, Surfing, Wild Winter Weekend, as well as magazine and panel shows such Wide World of Sports, Sports Sunday and NRL Footy Show.

In 1987, Saul had a two-year hiatus from the Sport Department to develop the MTV late night music show on the Nine Network from scratch - originally in Australia, MTV was late night music show on the Nine Network and unlike the American channel, the shows were produced live. In addition to music clips, this included high profile bands in an intimate studio format many years before the now iconic Unplugged debut on US screens.

As Executive Producer of Corporate & Commercial Production for Gravity Media in Australia, Adam is responsible for the direction and management of client accounts. This involves communicating with our customers on key issues to ensure that expectations are met from a storytelling, quality, budget and schedule perspective.

Adam is an experienced executive and co-ordinating producer with more than 27 years of TV production expertise in Australia, Asia, UK and USA. This includes leading live outside broadcasts, studio productions and pre-production content, plus planning and integrating major sporting events.

Prior to joining Gravity Media, Adam was co-ordinating producer for Seven Network Australia’s coverage of the 2018 Commonwealth Games and 2016 Olympics & Paralympics. He also managed Optus Sport’s football coverage of the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup and 2018 FIFA World Cup, along with Seven’s coverage of the 2017 and 2013 Rugby League World Cups.

Before these roles, Adam was an executive & senior producer at Fox Sports Australia, leading a team of producers, crew and on-air talent in cricket, rugby league, football and tennis on live outside broadcasts, studio programs and special events. He held this position for 13 years.

Adam holds a TV Certificate of Proficiency through TAFE NSW (1995).

Rick oversees all the sports and entertainment production for Gravity Media in Australia, as well as helping develop our digital production and new media strategy. He is responsible for identifying talent, building relationships with clients and ensuring creative expectations are met with responsible and thorough planning.

Rick is a highly experienced and versatile producer who has worked across the highest level of sports and entertainment production.

He has been the line producer of many high-profile live international sporting events, live entertainment events and studio panel shows, and has also been instrumental in the development of Gravity Media’s digital production and new media strategy.

Rick collates all information, and takes control of building rundowns and working with technical crew to ensure all scenarios are in place to make sure we achieve the best possible result for each production.

Before joining Gravity Media (as Input Media), Rick enjoyed various production roles at Fox Sports Australia and Jam TV. With a vast knowledge of all facets of television production, Rick has a reputation for meticulous planning, client service and versatility.

As Production Supervisor for Gravity Media in Australia, Mike is responsible for providing support to the Director – Production & Content by managing the company’s production team and deliverables.

Mike is an experienced Production Executive and Broadcast Producer who has worked across a number of productions and events in both Australia and Europe. He joined Gravity Media in 2019 to oversee the day-to-day management of the Production & Content team to deliver company projects to a high standard, from sports, light entertainment to corporate and commercial.

Prior to joining Gravity Media, Mike was Head of Production at Chief Entertainment, a boutique production and broadcast company, a role held for 12 years. In this role, Mike was key in developing new client relationships and securing broadcast projects along with optimising efficiency and productivity.

Before Chief Entertainment, Mike had freelance Producer/Director dealings with numerous clients including Governments, the private sector and major television networks and production companies. In addition, extensive broadcast experience brought about from long fulltime stints at Network 10 and prior, the Nine Network.

During his 30+ year career, Mike has had varied broadcast experience and roles from Studio/OB Camera, DOP, Agency Work, Events Producer, Producer/Director and Head of Production.

As General Manager for Gravity Media in France, Solène is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Paris office, including coordination of resources, leadership of staff and the management & growth existing & new clients. She also acts as the primary point of contact in France for other parts of Gravity Media, ensuring that clients always receive the full force of Gravity. 

Solène joined Gravity Media (as Gearhouse Broadcast) in 2017 as a Production Manager before being promoted to Head of Production & Operations in 2019. In this role she looked after the project management team at Gravity Media in France, overseeing the planning and delivery of large-scale contracts including multi-sports events with OBS and ISB. Solène ensured that projects ran smoothly at a technical, logistical and crewing level. She was also involved in generating new commercial opportunities, including facilities contracts for the Federation Française de Tennis, F1H2O racing, eSports and multi-sports events with OBS and ISB. 

Before joining Gravity Media, Solène specialised in aerial and special cameras. She worked worldwide in advertising and feature film production, as well as on first-class sport events such as the Olympic Games, Asian Games, World/European athletics championships, Swimming World Championships, Six Nations rugby and French Open tennis. 

As Business Development Manager for Gravity Media in France, Mathias is responsible for developing Gravity Media’s sales and client experience in continental Europe, with a strong focus on the French market.

With 20 years of communications experience, Mathias has worked across a number of organisations in the sports and media industries, delivering strategy management, content, crisis communication, press and public relations.

Prior to joining Gravity Media, Mathias owned MBMC, a communication agency delivering consulting, press relations and influence in the sports industry. Previously Mathias was Public Affairs & Communications Manager Euro 2016 at The Coca-Cola Company, Director Communications & Marketing at the LNH (handball French national league) and Head of Content of the FIA. He also previously worked for ten years at the Paris Saint-Germain as Head of press relations.

Sunita Vishram joined Gravity Media (as Gearhouse Broadcast) in 2008, performing a number of roles within the UK sales team before moving abroad in 2015 and becoming Sales & Marketing Executive in the Qatar office. 

Alongside her commercial responsibilities, Sunita looks after the day-to-day running of the office, as well as working hard to keep our existing customers happy.

Sunita has been involved right from the very beginning with Qatar’s development towards the world cup having secured the contracts do broadcast cabling for four out of the stadiums that will host the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

As an advisor for Gravity Media in Middle East & North Africa (MENA), Abdelkader is assisting the business to develop and grow its presence in the region. He is identifying new business opportunities in key MENA countries through offering broadcast facilities and content solutions to the region’s broadcasters and content providers.

Abdelkader is a media executive with more than 23 years’ experience and has worked for some of the major TV networks in the region, holding key responsibilities in the fields of content production and media rights acquisition.

Prior to joining Gravity Media, Abdelkader was director of Media Rights at beIN Media Group. In this role, Abdelkader was responsible for the acquisition and management of key sports and entertainment properties and the development of strategic partnerships with major content providers in the region.

Before beIN, Abdelkader was head of programmes at Dubai Media Incorporated overseeing both the production and content acquisition for the Dubai Sports channel. Earlier in his career he worked for the Middle East Broadcasting Centre (MBC), the first satellite network in the region.

Abdelkader holds a Master’s Degree in Management and Diplomacy (1997).
