What we do

The North Melbourne Grand Final Breakfast is one of Australia’s most iconic sporting traditions — the breakfast event celebrating AFL’s biggest day. Bringing together AFL stars, VIPs, and sporting royalty, this annual fixture is a highlight of Grand Final week. Held at the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre, the 2025 event reached full capacity, welcoming 1,400 attendees and a national audience tuning in live on 7plus Sport.

In partnership with JAM TV, Gravity Media provided complete broadcast facilities and production support to capture the excitement, energy, and atmosphere of this renowned event.

What we used

Our crew deployed a 5-camera setup, including a Jib and RF handheld, to deliver dynamic coverage of the breakfast. The production was supported by our state-of-the-art UHD11 Outside Broadcast truck, providing full technical infrastructure, live mixing, replay, graphics, and audio capabilities.

Working closely with our partners at JAM TV, we ensured smooth integration across all production elements, delivering a polished live broadcast experience from start to finish.

Outcome

The collaboration between Gravity Media and JAM TV delivered a seamless broadcast of one of the AFL calendar’s most prestigious events. Our technical expertise and production capabilities ensured every key moment — from celebrity arrivals to live entertainment and panel discussions — was captured and broadcast nationally on 7plus Sport. Viewers were provided the sights and sounds of the breakfast, with the best seat in the house.
