The Production Centre in Sydney is in high demand with both traditional broadcasts and on-line broadcasts. In addition to facilitating and producing Racing Victoria’s Horse Racing coverage and free to air channel (Channel 78), last week saw three control rooms and two studios all in use over four days. An additional green screen in the office and pop up studio in the boardroom were also required to keep up with the requirements.

The balcony area did not escape as it was used to film Welcome to Country for the Australian Arts Council, First Nation Awards. Meanwhile, the Supercars were racing remotely around the world with up to 30 feeds coming into The Production Centre including driver cameras, judiciary on the Gold Coast and pit reporters in Melbourne. After a busy Wednesday night of productions, Thursday gave no relief.

The engineering and operations team were straight back in facilitating another EventCast production for the Radio Siren Awards along with a charity corporate challenge for United Way in the adjoining control room.

Be it studios around the world, connecting remotely or outside broadcasts, Gravity Media is open for business and well placed to facilitate and produce multiple productions or events be it large or small.
