Series 20 of Channel 4’s critically acclaimed fly-on-the-wall documentary series 24 Hours in A&E began on 14 January 2020. The show follows cameras filming around the clock in some of Britain’s busiest A&E departments, where real stories of life, love and loss unfold every day.

The show has won a Royal Television Society award for Best Documentary, and has become a hit with viewers for its often emotionally-charged scenes depicting the bonds between patients, family members and hospital staff – not always with a happy ending.

24 Hours in A&E is filmed in St George’s Hospital, London, which has one of the busiest A&E departments in the world, seeing an average of 350 patients a day.

Gravity Media supplied a number of Avid Media Composer suites to support post-production on the show.
