The third and final series Jamestown began airing on Sky One on Friday 26th April. The 24-part drama from the makers of Downton Abbey follows the lives of a group of English settlers in 17th century America.

The basic plot is that in 1619, twelve years after men have founded the colony of Jamestown in Virginia, women arrive from England duty bound to marry the men who have paid for their passage to America. Among the women are Jocelyn, Alice and Verity – played by Naomi Battrick, Sophie Rundle and Niamh Walsh respectively – who arrive with little idea of what the future holds or the disruption they’re about to bring to the settlement.

HyperActive housed the post-production for the series at our Frith Street cutting rooms from June to December last year. The remaining seven episodes will air at 9pm on Sky One each Friday, as well as streaming on NOW TV.
