Based across our UK sites (Chiswick, Soho, Watford & White City), the Maintenance Operator will report directly into the Facilities & Compliance Manager and will be responsible for assisting with all maintenance requirements across the business and ensuring all health and safety regulations are followed.

Based across our UK sites (Chiswick, Soho, Watford & White City), the Maintenance Operator will report directly into the Facilities & Compliance Manager and will be responsible for assisting with all maintenance requirements across the business and ensuring all health and safety regulations are followed.

Responsibilities

• Conducting routine inspections of premises and equipment.

• Performing preventative maintenance in line with set programmes

• Handling basic carpentry, electrical, painting, plumbing repairs and general maintenance.

• Overseeing contractors when professional repairs are necessary.

• Diagnosing mechanical issues and correcting them, if possible

• Proactive to inspect, diagnose and solve problems with machinery and building. Able to repairing machines, equipment, or structures as necessary

• Responding to maintenance tickets raised and closing them off in a timely manner.

Qualifications

• GCSE English & Maths

• NVQ Level 2 Property Maintenance / Plumbing / Electrical or equivalent

• Valid and full UK Driving License – company van will be provided

• Right to Work in the UK

Experience

• Proven maintenance experience.

• Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems

• Experience of using hand & electrical tools, and precision measuring instruments or electronic testing devices.

• Physical stamina and dexterity

• Ability to reference blueprints, repair manuals, catalogues as necessary

• Basic computer knowledge, use of ticketing system and email.
