The Project

To operate as the production partner for Chelsea TV, providing linear programming for Chelsea’s dedicated TV channel, and digital content across multiple platforms to support the club’s ever-growing online audience. Input Media’s production team delivers a variety of live programming, much of which is streamed on YouTube or Facebook and available on-demand, as well as a wealth of fresh content for the club’s app and social media channels.

The Approach

Input Media has more than 20 technicians and producers based permanently at Chelsea’s Stamford Bridge stadium. The production team work alongside in-house staff to deliver the club’s digital content strategy, ensuring all channels are regularly populated with bespoke online content. Our producers are well-versed in delivering numerous strands of digital content that are specifically targeted to different social media platforms.

The technical crew manage the streaming and transmission of programming as well as the dedicated studio facilities for the channel, which are used daily for news programmes, build-up programming before kick-off, and live post-match shows.

The Outcome

The success of Chelsea TV over the past decade reflects the club’s status as one of the Premier League’s elite. Input Media has worked closely with Chelsea over the years to build the profile of the channel and adapt content to suit multi-platform use as the club’s digital audience continues to grow.
