THE CUSTOMER

Cage Warriors is Europe’s premier mixed martial arts promotion, having staged 80+ events in 12 countries across 3 different continents since its establishment in 2002.

The promotion has been home to some of biggest stars of MMA past and present, and prides itself on being the proving ground for MMA’s stars of the future.

THE PROJECT

Cage Warriors was looking for a new and eye-catching opening titles sequence and graphics package to coincide with the development of a new style guide and the beginning of our production partnership with the customer.

THE APPROACH

Produced in a style that can be adapted and freshened for each Cage Warriors promotion – with new, event-specific footage added into the sequence as appropriate – elements included prominent opening titles sequences, highlights and analysis stings, score bug, countdown clock, event schedules, bout-order graphics, key rules, scoring system, and tabulated results.
With artwork designed bespoke to the Cage Warriors brand, Input Media also produced additional title sequences for the highlights programming, and a series of transition wipes for the live broadcast.

THE OUTCOME

The result was an impressive suite of striking graphics designed with brand-supporting visual continuity across all Cage Warriors programming.

On 31 October 2019, the four leading broadcast and production houses Gearhouse Broadcast, Hyperactive Broadcast, Input Media and Chief Entertainment owned by Gravity Media Group started trading under the brand name of ‘Gravity Media’. All Gravity Media companies around the world are making this transition and will now go to market as a single brand with a bold new look and purpose.
