Gravity Media is proud to be marking International Women’s Day on Wednesday 8th March 2023.
International Women’s Day is a globally recognised day celebrating the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women as well as ensuring a much needed call to action for accelerating women’s equality.
The day started with the Gravity Media team hosting International Women’s Day breakfasts across our Australian sites.
Over in the UK, the Gravity Media team kicked off the day’s celebrations with a special IWD breakfast at Gravity House, London, our Home for Post-Production, hosting a breakfast for our community of creatives, filled with pastries and smoothies.
We were also proud to recognise our ongoing support of Rise – the group for gender diversity in media technology. Gravity Media has ensured sponsorship annually to support women from all backgrounds working in the broadcasting technology sector through the launch of their 2022 global mentoring scheme.
The team then headed to Rise’s International Women’s Day event in London for an afternoon of inspiring panel discussions and networking drinks.
Followed by the Gravity Media team in Manchester hosting a key client dinner at ERST alongside Versa Studios.
The Gravity Media female team will also continue their support of WFTV by attending the London and Manchester networking IWD events.
