In celebration of NAIDOC Week, NITV and SBS rounded off a great line-up of programing with Episode 14 of Australia’s premier Indigenous current affairs program, Living Black, recorded in the studios at Gravity Media’s Production Centre in Sydney.

In this episode prolific journalist and host Karla Grant takes a behind the scenes look at the 4-part drama series True Colours. She was joined by creators Erica Glynn and Warren H. Williams, actor Rarriwuy Hick and translator Marie Ellis.

True Colours is a groundbreaking four part series using English and for the first time the Aboriginal language of Arrernte. True Colours takes viewers deep into the world of First Nations community as it has never been seen before while showcasing the Arrernte language.

Gravity Media provided full studio and control room facilities and crewing for this recording and is proud to play a part in NAIDOC Week. A week which celebrates and recognises the history, culture, and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
