With now just over 18 months to go until the 2022 World Cup kicks off, time is fast running out for international broadcasters to finalise arrangements for how they’re going to cover all the action. Non-rightsholders will need to find appropriate locations for their studio or stand-up productions, but where in Qatar should they be?

Uniquely for Qatar 2022, all eight host stadia are within a small 70km (43 mile) radius of each other. This will make it incredibly convenient for fans, who will be able to attend matches in different locations on the same day – but it will also make competition for the best broadcast locations extremely intense.

How we can help

With a permanent facility and operation in Qatar since 2007  and having worked on a number of key World Cup projects over the past couple of years  Gravity Media has both the technical expertise and local knowledge to help broadcasters maximise the potential of the 2022 World Cup for viewers and commercial partners alike.

Our team in Qatar can provide you with two unique and very different stand up positions. These locations display an iconic background of Doha’s imposing skyline whilst showcasing the traditional Qatari culture.

Our offer comprises an open, outdoor 4m x 4m studio setup, suitable for a 1+2 or 3/desk for the presenter and guests, with multiple in-vision options available. Each studio setup boasts full broadcast facilities, power, AC, office space, toilets, green rooms and premium connectivity, as well as Live-U connectivity to allow production teams to roam and for live links from locations such as the FIFA Fan Zones and team training camps.
