G-Finity called on the Gravity Media UK Equipment Rental team to secure EVS servers and editing suites for the fourth season of F1 ESports events. The Formula 1 ESports Series is a professional esports programme created in 2017 involving the official Formula 1 video game and its gaming community.
Gravity Media’s Post-Production Engineer Shane McGill was on site where he was responsible for making sure the team remained in first place. Shane looked after two of the edits, making sure the team can use the edits as part of the live show as well any ongoing edits. In addition, Shane looked after the two EVS XT3 ChannelMax servers that were used as part of the production, making sure any requested content was archived and for extra media to facilitate a touchscreen analysis system.
