Following the great success of the Women’s Big Bash League (WBBL) final last month, where Gravity Media streamed a total of 35 matches to the Fox streaming platform Kayo and with 12 matches broadcast on Fox Sports, last week saw the three-day tour match between Australia A vs India from the picturesque Drummoyne Oval in Sydney.
Gravity Media was once again contracted to support Cricket Australia across multiple competitions with both streaming and broadcast services.
For the three-day tour match, Gravity Media supplied a complete turnkey coverage, including an eight-camera coverage and our outside broadcast truck HD 8 was on site to capture the awesome century by the young gun Cameron Green.
HD8 is a 4K, double expanding supertruck that extends to 16.1m when fully expanded. It’s a high end, extremely versatile production facility, complete with dedicated vision, engineering, VTR and audio areas. Find out more here.
The Gravity Media team then travelled to the iconic Sydney’s Cricket Ground to capture the action from the Pink-ball Tour Match: Australia A v India. The Gravity Media team supplied a complete turnkey coverage which was broadcast live again on all four platforms.
The commentary team included the likes of Allan Border, Brendan Julian, Kerry O’Keeffe and Isa Guha. However, due to COVID-19 restrictions no fans were allowed in, but Gravity Media was there on hand to bring the action to homes across the globe.
