The Proms – billed as the world’s greatest classical music festival – is held every summer at the Royal Albert Hall in London. Its aim is to bring the best in classical music to the widest possible audience, and with eight weeks of concerts, workshops, talks and family events, there’s definitely something in it for everyone.

HyperActive’s support engineer Andy Emmerson is currently onsite at the venue, where he’ll stay until mid-September, supporting four Avid Media Composer Suites and EVS Integration hardware.

There are multiple ways to enjoy the festival on the BBC, including radio, TV and streaming services. Nearly all the 150 public concerts will be broadcast on Radio 3, with many also being show on BBC Four.
