Rolex Monte-Carlo Masters 2019

The first clay court Masters event of the year took place in glamorous Monte-Carlo from 14 to 21 April. Italian Fabio Fognini beat Dusan Lajovic of Serbia 6-3, 6-4 in the Final, to become the first Italian to win an ATP Masters 1000 title.

It was also the first run-out for Gearhouse Broadcast’s newly purchased IP Flypack, which our Projects team configured to create three Production Control Rooms covering two show courts and a World Feed for ATP Media – all centred on a Grass Valley/Cisco IP core. 

As the broadcast industry looks to shift towards this new technology, Gearhouse is delighted to be ahead of the transition and already offering the most advanced solutions in the market. 

Innovation is one of the main things that brings our customers back to us time and time again, so it’s no surprise that later this summer we’ll also be using this great new IP Flypack for the Technical Operation Centres at both the Champions League Final and Europa Cup Final.
