A leading supplier of global broadcast solutions, Gearhouse Broadcast announces its sizable investment in a substantial quantity of the Sony HDC2500 cameras for its Project Solutions and Rental divisions.
The purchase has been made to meet the demand from Gearhouse Broadcast’s clients who form an expanding mix of studios, outside broadcast companies, production houses and television networks.
The HDC-2500 system camera is the successor to the HDC-1500R Series. The top-of-the-range HDC-2500 incorporates Sony’s advanced technologies for studio cameras. A newly developed 2/3-inch CCD and the new Digital Signal Processing (DSP) with 16 bit A/D converter provides amazing picture quality with very few noise and high dynamic range.
The HDC-2500 provides extra functions, as well as a body designed for more robustness and operational efficiency. The HDC-2500 also provides more flexibility on transmission by its side panel that can be easily replaced to fit HD Wireless (3rd Party) or Triax transmission systems. The camera also has the ability to provide 3G and dual speed outputs which future proof and adds extra production value to this product.
Kevin Moorhouse, Gearhouse Broadcast’s Chief Operating Officer said “Gearhouse Broadcast continues to search for new technology to bring greater production value and innovation to our clients. Our continuous investment has made us one of the world’s leading broadcast facilitators”.
“The investment forms part of an inventory update for Gearhouse broadcast which will see the new Sony HDC2500 cameras sit alongside the company’s existing HD range of cameras including the Sony HDC 1500 and HDC 3300 models”.
