As Managing Director of Hyperactive Broadcast, James is responsible for maintaining Hyperactive’s reputation for quality, innovation and response of service, developing & delivering strategic plans, building, maintaining and managing an effective sales and engineering team, successfully implementing company policies, maximising performance of the companies many revenue streams and controlling finance.
James is a proactive leader with over 30 years’ experience in both the broadcast and feature film industries, with outstanding managerial and motivational skills, coupled with an established track record in managing and developing key accounts, achieving targets and controlling costs to maximise profits.
James’ career began in 1987 working as a trainee technician for Hyperactive before becoming a Lighting Camera Assistant, working for Clarke Productions in Soho London.
Before returning to Hyperactive in 1993 to head up the rental management team, James worked in the film industry as a 35mm Camera Assistant, Clapper Loader and Focus Puller, working on commercials and feature documentaries for numerous production companies.
