Gravity Media’s ongoing role in helping to navigate Covid-19 restrictions and deliver broadcasts of elite level tennis from around the world is currently continuing with ITV’s coverage of Roland Garros.

Having provided host broadcast facilities for the US Open in New York, the WTA Tour, the Western & Southern Open, and the ATP Masters 1000 in Rome, we are concluding a run of back-to-back work on five major tennis events with the French Open.

While Gravity Media France are supplying crew, equipment and support for the French Tennis Federation on site in Paris, our Production Centre in West London is providing facilities for ITV’s remote production of this year’s tournament. ITV 4’s daily output sees John Inverdale anchoring the coverage from our in-house studio alongside a wide-range of pundits, including former World No 1 Jim Courier contributing remotely via a wraparound video wall. ITV are also using The Production Centre’s state-of-the-art galleries and edit suites throughout the two weeks of Roland Garros.

The French Open’s main draw went on air on Sunday 27th September and runs until Sunday 11th October.

The Production Centre, London, is designed for the delivery of live sport, offering full live production services, whether on-premise or as part of a hybrid remote configuration. Ideal for live multi-feed production, fast turnaround rolling highlights edits for broadcast or digital, live streams, in-match clips for social and digital, as well as crafted highlights, along with features and traditional post-production. It is equally capable of providing broadcast facilities for live events and other fast turnaround programming genres.
