Gravity Media has supplied Avid Media Composer facilities to support post-production of new comedy-drama Off the Rails. The film follows four female friends, now in their 50s, who attempt to recreate the adventures of their youth, embarking on an interrail journey across Europe. This time, however, 18-year-old Maddie (Elizabeth Dormer-Phillips, Fortitude) is taking her mother’s place, fulfilling her mum’s dying wish. With various mishaps and romantic entanglements along the way, the ladies must put old feuds aside to complete the journey within five days.
The film stars Sally Phillips, Kelly Preston and Jenny Seagrove, and also features national treasure Judi Dench.
Bill Kenwright Films and Black Camel Pictures are planning to release the film in cinemas later this year.
