Anna Kowalczuk Siy – Front of House

  1. What is your favourite part / proudest moment at Gravity Media?

My favourite part about working at Gravity Media has to be meeting the team and learning more about the behind-the-scenes of broadcasting.

  1. What motivates you at work?

The things I’ll learn surrounded by the people I work with.

  1. A tip for someone starting out in the broadcast industry?

Don’t be afraid to ask questions.

  1. Favourite film / tv programme / sport / sports team?

Favourite film – The Lobster

Favourite TV series – The Knick

Favourite Sports – Surfing, Scuba Diving, Kite Boarding and Football

  1. What makes great TV / films?

A captivating story told in a unique way.

Josh Vazquez – Runner

  1. What is your favourite part / proudest moment at Gravity Media?

My favourite part of working at Gravity Media has been the opportunity to work on some of the most exciting sports events, such as the FA Cups and Champions League nights. Being able to assist with match night monitoring and visiting stadiums to help with rigging has been an incredible experience.

The fast-paced and dynamic nature of live sports events is both challenging and exhilarating.

I feel proud to be a part of the team on a full-time basis, and I am grateful for the opportunity to contribute to the success of the team.

  1. What motivates you at work?

I find motivation by working alongside my peers and contributing to the success of a team. Collaboration and teamwork are essential, and a sense of camaraderie and shared purpose are for me powerful motivators.

  1. A tip for someone starting out in the broadcast industry?

Be willing to learn new skills and technology. Plus try to get to know your colleagues and ask questions.

  1. What makes great TV / films?

When it comes to what makes great TV/films, it is a combination of various elements. Compelling storytelling, well-developed characters, stunning visuals, and effective use of sound and music are all important factors.

The ability to evoke emotions in the audience is also crucial, whether it be laughter, tears, or suspense.

A great TV show or film should be able to transport the audience to another world and leave a lasting impression.

Ross Quick – Runner

  1. What is your favourite part / proudest moment at Gravity Media?

Working in a state-of-the-art remote production facility to help the team as they produce the live broadcast of a Formula E race happening across the world.

  1. What motivates you at work?

Being surrounded by a team working together on a common goal, pushing each other in all areas to achieve our best.

  1. A tip for someone starting out in the broadcast industry?

Talk with everyone you can and learn as much as you can from them, find out what you like and don’t like, and build connections within the teams you work with.

  1. Favourite film / tv programme / sport / sports team?

My favourite sports are football and Formula One, with my favourite team being Arsenal and my favourite driver is Lando Norris.

  1. What makes great TV / films?

Great stories make great TV, finding the stories within the action, whether that being a race, a match, or an event; great TV picks these stories out and tells them to the audience as they happen.
