This weekend, HyperActive was with NEP once again supporting ITV’s coverage of the UK horse racing season. The venue of course was Aintree for the showpiece race of the year: The Grand National.

The Grand National remains one of the biggest events in the sporting calendar, with around 500 million people following proceedings from around the world, and hopeful punters staking an estimated £150m on the race itself. The shrewdest – or perhaps luckiest – will have put their money on Tiger Roll, the 7-2 favourite who romped home to win his second Grand National in as many years. The last horse to win back-to-back Nationals was Red Rum in 1974, and now it’s Tiger Roll’s turn to enter racing folklore.

HyperActive supplied NEP with an Adobe Premiere Pro Creative Cloud edit solution for the event, and provided onsite support to the outside broadcast and editorial crew.
