Formula 1 Italian Grand Prix

An entertaining Italian Grand Prix saw Charles Leclerc continue to shine, in stark contrast to his Ferrari teammate Sebastian Vettel, whose torrid run of form and luck continues (nine major mistakes in 27 races).

Immediately after the race, Twitter blew up with fans questioning Vettel’s future at Ferrari whilst celebrating Leclerc’s talent – although a few pondered whether the stewards had been a bit lenient on Leclerc, who hadn’t left Hamilton much room to get past while the Brit was attempting a bold overtaking move not long after his tyre change.

But all that’s academic really. Leclerc took the points, Bottas was second, and Hamilton limited the damage to his Championship lead by finishing third and posting the fastest lap of the race.

In what’s probably the best F1 season for years, Gearhouse Broadcast is delighted to have been in the thick of the action again, supporting Whisper and Channel 4 with their coverage of the event. Next stop: Singapore.
