SAIL Amsterdam 2025

SAIL Amsterdam 2025 once again transformed the city’s waterfront into a spectacular celebration. Millions of visitors lined the IJ to see tall ships, historic vessels, and hundreds of boats fill the harbour, accompanied by live music, sailing parades, and a vibrant festival atmosphere. 

This year’s event was especially significant as Amsterdam marked its 750th anniversary – a milestone that added to the excitement of the 10th edition of this world-famous maritime celebration. 

Our Netherlands team were proud to support NOS with live broadcast coverage that brought every moment to viewers across the country. Over the course of the event, we deployed 10 cameras, including five wireless units, to capture the action from every angle. Our reporter boats were out on the water following the ships, while our colleagues from Eurogrip Rentals joined us on a crane vessel to deliver elevated shots of the harbour. 

We also captured stunning aerial footage from a helicopter to show the full scale of SAIL Amsterdam. With SNG’s uplinks and downlinks, audiences were able to enjoy live coverage of the event in real time.  

SAIL Amsterdam remains one of the standout moments on the Dutch events calendar, and we’re proud to have played a huge role in delivering this exciting event to viewers across the Netherlands.
