The Pakistan Super League is now in its sixth season and from Thursday 20 February to Sunday 22 March, six teams from Pakistan will compete in over 34 cricket matches. This cricket season will see players from across the globe competing including 14 players from the UK.

It was all hands on deck to pull together, in just five workings days, logistics for the host broadcast in Pakistan. Gravity Media has flown in over 18 tonnes of equipment and is supplying one of the 32 camera flyaways for the host cities Karachi and Rawalpindi.

The production team will be led by Gravity Media’s Director of Production and Content, Steve Norris. Steve has over three decades of sports media and production experience and was part of the team that helped launch pay-television broadcaster BT Sport in the UK and Ten Sports in South Asia. Steve was also the head of production at Ten Sports, which handled production of all Pakistan cricket matches from 2000 to 2006.

The high spec cricket tournament also includes Spidercam, Hawkeye and drone equipment.
