UK Snooker Championship

The UK Snooker Championship is currently underway at the York Barbican, running from 26 November to 8 December. It’s the 43rd edition of the UK Championship, and the first Triple Crown event of the 2019/2020 season.

Perhaps the biggest story of the competition so far is world number one Judd Trump being dumped out in the third round at the hands of veteran world number 98 Nigel Bond. At the time of writing, world number two Ronnie O’Sullivan is still in the frame, though, continuing his quest for a record-extending eighth UK Championship title.
